Description

Our Peat-Free Compost sustainable, environmentally friendly growing medium produced from carefully controlled composting of locally collected green waste from across Norfolk is available for bulk delivery from 1 to 6 cubic metres, making it ideal for gardens, landscaping projects, raised beds, and commercial applications.

Throughout the composting process, the material is regularly aerated to encourage natural decomposition while preserving the beneficial microorganisms that support healthy soil. This creates a biologically active compost rich in beneficial bacteria, fungi, and other natural organisms that help improve soil structure, support nutrient cycling, and promote long-term plant health.

Certified to the British Standard PAS100 for compost quality, our peat-free compost offers a reliable, high-quality alternative to peat-based products. By choosing recycled green compost, you’re helping to protect valuable peatlands, preserve important wildlife habitats, and reduce carbon emissions.

Ideal for improving existing soils, this versatile compost increases organic matter, enhances moisture retention, and encourages stronger, healthier plant growth in gardens, borders, vegetable patches, and landscaping projects.

*Please note:  This is a natural recycled product.  Occasionally, small pieces of twig, wood, or tiny fragments of plastic may remain after screening.  These do not affect the quality or performance of the compost and can simply be removed by hand if found.

By choosing recycled green compost, you’re helping to reduce waste, recycle valuable organic materials, and support a more sustainable future while improving the health of your soil.
