10mm All In Ballast

Description

Our 10mm All-in Ballast is a versatile, graded mix containing aggregate from 10mm gravel down to fine sand, creating a well-balanced material for a variety of garden, landscaping and general building projects. Simply add cement and water when using it to make concrete.

With a finer grading than our 20mm ballast, the 10mm mix is particularly useful where easy placement, a neat finish or working in tighter spaces is important.

Ideal for:

• Patios, paths and steps – The smaller aggregate creates a workable concrete mix that is easy to place and finish, making it a useful choice for patios, garden paths, steps and other landscaping projects where a neat, smooth concrete surface is required.
• Smaller concrete projects – Easy to work into edges, corners and tighter spaces, making it a practical choice for a wide range of garden and landscaping jobs.
• Levelling and sub-bases – Provides a firm, compactable layer for making up levels beneath paving, slabs and other hard landscaping.
• Setting fence and gate posts
• Pipe bedding – Can be used to create a stable supporting layer around suitable underground pipework, helping to distribute loads and provide support.

Because the different particle sizes are already graded together from 10mm down to fine material, 10mm All-in Ballast provides a convenient, ready-blended aggregate for concrete and groundwork projects.

For larger or deeper general-purpose concrete projects, our 20mm All-in Ballast may be the more suitable choice, while 10mm is particularly useful when a finer, more workable concrete mix is preferred.
