Soft Sand, also known as builders sand, is a finely graded natural sand with smooth, rounded grains. Its fine texture makes it easy to work with and ideal for mixing workable mortar for garden walls, laying natural stone and paving, and creating a smooth, level base for heavy slabs and natural stone. Soft Sand is also commonly used beneath pond liners, helping to create a cushioning layer that can protect against punctures from sharp stones or uneven ground.
